MacX YouTube Downloader Upgraded to 4K

MacXDVD Software (parent company Digiarty Software) released version 4.0 of it’s YouTube Downloader software on 7th April 2015. The latest version contains some significant updates the company states, not least of which is the fact that the program will now download from over 300 other websites, not just YouTube any more. The company’s press release states that the YouTube Downloader will now also download from sites such as FaceBook, Vimeo, Vevo, Dailymotion and others.

The company says that these changes have come about as a result of popular user demand for the other sites and the CEO (merely named as Jack on the company website) stated that MacX mission from the very beginning was to listen to consumers and integrate features requested by users both large and small.

One immediately thinks of people who want to download videos from video sites such as YouTube as nefarious pirate type people who want to download copyrighted material for their own purposes, but when you remember that much of the world still isn’t on fantastically fast broadband connections (especially in Australia!), watching streaming videos can be fraught with frustration due to laggy connections, stuttering and drops in quality. MacX YouTube downloader overcomes this problem by downloading the whole video before you start to watch it, meaning that there’s not going to be any drop outs or drop in quality for the videos you want to watch.

MacX YouTube Downloader is available as a free download, has no adware or other malware and is compatible with OSX Yosemite, Mavericks, Mountain Lion, Lion, Snow Leapard and Leopard.

MacXDVD Software is a division of Digiarty Software Company and produces many video processing software titles for the Mac (as well as Windows). For further information about MacXDVD Software, visit http://www.macxdvd.com
